About The Campaign

We address this appeal to friends of Bulgaria and its people, philanthropists, organisations, foreign companies and institutions with good will and capacity to support recovery in the flood-hit areas and prevention of future disasters.
All funds collected will assist recovery and prevention measures in the most severely struck communities.
How the aid will be used
All financial assistance collected will be distributed following a transparent consultative process with local governments and communities. A committee with representatives of the initiators of the campaign, local governments and community members and experts will determine the allocation of resources.
Feedback on the support given to the local communities will be:
- publicly announced at the site;
- provided to you upon request by e-mail

The Workshop for Civic Initiatives Foundation aims at achieving positive practical change in the lives of communities throughout the whole country by supporting them to use local resources as resources for local development.
